"MillIion DJ March on Washington"

DJs, recording artists, and activists are being called on to rally in Washington DC this summer at the "Million DJ March," in an attempt to shed light on issues affecting DJs.

The three day event - which will be held on August 28 -30 - will find DJs raising their voices for better compensation, security, recognition for contributions to the music industry and an organized union for professional DJs, as they march from the Capitol Building to the Washington Monument.

DJ Green Lantern is the face of the event, while A. Shaw, a long-time sponsor of Justo's Mixtape Awards, is heading up the whole thing.

"DJ's do not get fully recognized for the work they do," Shaw said in a statement. "Label and major businesses who reap the rewards of default publicity need to pay attention and give more recognition and financial compensation to DJs for the promotion they provide, without which music sales would surely suffer."

Sometimes, DJs even face legal repercussions for that promotion, a practice the rally will also address.

"[DJs are] often harassed and legally penalized for their promotional efforts even when those efforts have been solicited directly by the labels and artists themselves: an arrangement that is known about throughout the industry but kept 'on the low," the press release reads.

"I am calling upon the industry to show support for an event to unify deejays and help create future economic safety for those that have chosen this art form as a career ," Shaw said.

Sponsors and attendees will be treated to artist performances, speeches by music industry leaders and founding DJs.

50 Cent Gets His Chain Robbed in Africa

Rap superstar 50 Cent had his diamond-encrusted chain stolen by an overzealous fan during a recent concert in Africa.

The rapper was performing in Angola with his G-Unit crew when one man jumped up onto the stage and snatched the bling bling from his neck.

In the video, the assailant can be seen running off with the chain as 50 Cent and his entourage chase after him.

The G-Unit boss caught up with the thief and allegedly punched him in the face before claiming back his prized possession.

A source tells TMZ, “The chain is around 50’s neck right now.”

Check out the video of 50 gettin his chain snatched....

Jay-Z Sets Up Trust Fund For Sean Bell's Kids

People often complain about hip-hop not showing up for things like this, but rap citizens have stepped up in a variety of ways on this one. Not that any rap philanthropy is enough to bring solace or justice here.

The hip hop community has had different replies to the Sean Bell verdict. The Game, David Banner, Swizz Beatz, Talib Kweli, Styles P, Jadakiss, Mos Def and more have been openly upset at the verdict. Game even released a new track and now Jay-Z is giving his response. Jay-Z has established an educational trust for the children of Sean Bell. Jay-Z is reportedly closely working with Sean Bell’s widow, Nicole Paultre Bell, to institute the trust funds for both of their children.

Rapper Jay-Z has established an education trust fund for the children of Sean Bell - the man who was shot and killed by New York police on the day of his wedding, according to reports from AllHipHop.

The Hip-Hop mogul, born Shawn Carter, has close ties to the case, as ads from his "I Will Not Lose" Rocawear campaign featured the children's mother, Nicole Paultre-Bell, who married her fiance posthumously. The woman's participation in the ad sparked outrage and accusations of trial tampering.

A source close to the matter told AllHipHop that the process of setting up the fund began before the trial that recently acquitted three NYPD detectives on all charges related to the death. Activity was suspended during the trial and has now resumed.

The stock-based fund will mature when Jada, 5, and Jordan, 1, become adults.

Man Arrested Trying To Cash $360 Billion Check

Police in Texas said a 21-year-old man was arrested and accused of trying to cash a check for $360 billion.Police in Fort Worth said they arrested Charles Fuller last week when bank tellers noticed the ridiculously large amount and called the woman whose name was on the check.

The woman said Fuller is her daughter’s boyfriend, but she had not given him a check — and certainly not one for billions of dollars.

Fuller has been charged with fraud, police said.

Police said they found 2 ounces of marijuana and a gun in his pockets when they arrested him, so he also faces charges for unlawfully carrying a weapon and possession of marijuana.

According to reports Fuller claimed that the money was given to him by his girlfriend’s mother to start a record label.

I have no further questions your honor.

Swizz Beats and Mashonda Divorce

Swizz Beats and RnB singer Mashonda decided that it was finally time to get a divorce. Like a lot of music couples, this one just didn't work out. They were married for 4 years prior to the divorce. They have a son together who both still plan on taking care of. It seems as if they have separated on good terms which is good to see. Swizz Beats currently runs Full Surface Records which is the record company Mashonda sings for. Mashonda has a album due out in 2008 entitled Back to Business.
Here’s their official statement:

“Swizz Beatz and Mashonda have agreed to seperate on amicable terms. Their union was one shared in love and deep admiration for one another. For the last seven months, the two have been working on establishing a formidable friendship, being great parents to their son, and remaining great supporters of each other’s careers. The couple has agreed to continue their entrepeneurial spirit. Mashonda is set to launch a new luxury swimwear line, a musical venture , and beginning an arts based school for children. Swizz is hard at work producing for a number of artists, and on his follow up album through Universal Motown Records. The couple has asked that their privacy be respected at this time.”

Wesley Snipes Sentenced to 3 Years in Jail

This isn’t rap-related but I just found it interesting to read the letters that Denzel Washington and Woody Harrelson submitted to the judge who will be sentencing Wesley Snipes on his tax-fraud charges Thursday. Prosecutors have already asked the judge to throw the book at Snipes. You know, make a real example of the actor/martial-arts enthusiast/father of five. He may not get the pre-requisite Hollywood DUI every 6 months like the people who fill up The Green Door or Phillipe’s, but he is more offensive to the mainstream because of his other anti-establishment tendencies.

It’s not my place to say how Wesley should be punished for his crime. Nor is it my place to judge that crime in relation to other corporate white-collar cases, or high-profile celebrity cases.

But can appreciate how this kind of show of friendship is rare.

Denzel Washington’s character reference excerpt:

“I was fortunate enough to meet Wesley Snipes over 20 years ago and have called him a friend since that first day…Wesley is like a tree - a mighty oak. He stands for so many, “like a tree, planted by streams of water with leaves that do not wither.” Many who know him have witnessed the fruit of his labors, have sat in his shade and even been protected by his presence. I am proud of him, proud to call him a fellow thespian and most importantly, proud to call him a friend. I hope that sharing my observations will assist you in making the appropriate decision in his case.”
Woody Harrelson’s character reference excerpt:

“My first movie was also his first movie, Wildcats with Goldie Hawn. Both of us were 23 and our birthdays are only one week apart. I was, along with Goldie’s character, the only Caucasian associated with the team. A few of the folks on the production were followers of Louis Farrakhan. It was the first time I experienced racism towards me. This was challenging and what could have been an ugly situation turned out to be quite the opposite. Wes took the time to discuss and dissect the issue of racism with all of us…he strives for rightness in all his relations and I realized early on what a true citizen of the world Wes is. He continues to earn my respect to this day.”

A federal judge on Thursday April 24th sentenced the actor Wesley Snipes to three years in prison for willfully failing to file tax returns.Snipes, who was convicted in February, received one year for each count, to be served consecutively, and an additional year of probation. The sentence was handed down by Judge William Terrell Hodges of Federal District Court.

Carter III Pushed Back Again!

It was recently confirmed that the long awaited album Tha Carter III from New Orleans rapper, Lil' Wayne has been pushed back.
Originally slated for a December 2007 release, the album was pushed back to May 2008 and now Weezy's rep confirmed that the album is pushed back once more and is due out in June. The alleged cover art hit the net earlier today and it looks pretty funny.
Tha Carter III will be the rapper's sixth solo project and his first solo release since 2005's Tha Carter II. It will also mark the end of Weezy's Tha Carter trilogy which included 2004's Tha Carter and 2005's Tha Carter II. The two albums were certified gold and platinum respectively.
The Carter III's first official single, "Lollipop," was recently released and is currently all over the radio.
When speaking of the album, Wayne told Billboard, "It's one of those albums people are really waiting on, so I made it so that whatever is on it will stick with you forever. I'm taking my time with it. And I'm giving artists I respect and people I want to do songs with -- not songs the label fixed -- an opportunity to collaborate."
Tha Carter III hits stores June 10th via Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown Recordings.

Young Buck Officialy out of G-Unit

Well, I knew this was gonna happen. 50 cent recently stated on Hot 97 "You can take this as official notice right here". "Pretty much you can say Young Buck is no longer in the group G-unit but signed to G-unit as a solo artist". There were subtle signs, Young Buck stopped hyping G-Unit South, and launched Cashville Records instead. There were Buck’s comments about Tony Yayo’s assault charge on Hot 97. And of course, other comments about not beefing with Game.
Then there were the less subtle signs: Buck’s appearance onstage at a Baby and Lil Wayne concert. His interview on an Arizona radio station where Buck said, “I’ve been loyal….and its hard to be down with somebody when there’s no communication….It makes me feel like ‘what’s going on?’ There’s a video, everybody’s there, and there’s no Buck. Or you see your man moving overseas, on tour with the camp, with G-unit. Or you go to Thisis50.com and you see G-unit pictures is there, without Buck’s face…and then there’s no communication so I don’t really understand why…”
Oh boy. But the straw that broke the camel’s back was apparently, was this unsolicited offering from Young Buck to Quinton Hatfield of YoRaps…
“A lot of times a lot of artists don’t recoup off of albums so a lot of times they never get to see the backend from that project. I’m the only artist on G-Unit that ever recouped off of an album meaning I went off on this “Buck The World” project not owing Interscope and G-Unit nothing, I can say that much. I’m still waiting on a royalty check period, I never seen a royalty check since I’ve been signed with G-Unit. So hell yeah I’ll tell you one damn thing the show money is that good. I’ve never in my career cashed a royalty check, how you like that? Put that one in big black letters!”
Now after this interview went up, Buck’s manager Sha Money XL went into damage control mode, doing a really good job of calming the situation and also releasing a statement that Buck “cleared $10million” as a G-unit artist and that the writer was “taking Buck’s words wrong.” Meanwhile YoRaps released their own statement, basically saying, don’t use us as a scapegoat, come check the tape. But it didn’t really matter because, 50 was already reaching for the eject-button.
Why would Buck’s comments about royalties be that big of a deal? According to inside sources…..A few years back, Young Buck was in big trouble with the IRS. We’re talking $500,000 worth of trouble. So, 50 Cent bailed him out and paid the debt.
Allegedly Buck celebrated getting off the hook, by buying a Bentley. But either way, 50 recouped $300k of his loan over time by taking Young Buck’s royalty checks. Not his show money, or his label advance, or even his watch deal money.
So with $200,000 still in the red, from what I hear, that’s why Young Buck’s seemingly innocuous comment on a hip hop website spiraled into a G-unit drop kick.
Now, is Young Buck a valuable member of the group? Definitely. His Tennessee swag brings much needed diversity to their Queens County hard nosed rap. And Buck is still featured on the upcoming G-unit album. But he’s looking at an uphill battle as a contracted solo artist in a hostile environment if things are not amicably resolved.
Can they be amicably resolved?……I hope so.

HAHAHAHA FUNNY AKON AND TPAIN VIDEO

This video is really funny. I was dying laughing the first time i saw it. It's really funny that T-Pain actually sounds like that yet he has many fans. A lot of people really like him but it seems like anyone can make that voice through a computer. Watch this as Akon calls T-Pain

Creative Non-Fiction Paper

Creative non-fiction is a genre of writing which uses literary styles and techniques to create factually accurate narratives. The author’s goal in writing creative non-fiction is to tell us factual information while writing it in a way that reads like fiction. The reason why they write in this style is to make it easier to read and also try to capture the reader’s attention on topics that normally might not interest them. Creative non-fiction is a recently recognized genre that involves writing from personal experience and reporting on other peoples experiences.

Creative non-fiction is almost like a blend between journalism and creative writing. It is much easier for people to read creative writing, so blending the two helps us understand it better. The goal of the writer is to show you the facts and their opinion on a specific topic while making it easy to read. The literary elements that go into writing creative non-fiction are story, narration, place, setting, characterization, literary feel, and polished language. While the non-fiction elements include essay form, explanation, researched facts, and rhetorical patterns.

Creative non-fiction presents useful, interesting facts based on extensive as well as exhaustive research. A lot of research must be conducted in order to be able to write properly for this genre. The writer’s goal is to make the facts come alive through narration and setting or well developed scenes while presenting details that help the reader understand the main point. Facts can be very boring and dull, which is why the writer tries to add some spice to it. It is almost like food. Food can be changed from plain old boring to excellent by just adding some flavor and spice to it.

There is an endless amount of topics that can be used for writing creative non-fiction. The writer can choose to write about almost anything which is what makes it such a fascinating genre. In John McPhee’s “The Curve of Binding Energy”, he chooses to write about nuclear physicist Ted Taylor and nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons and nuclear safeguarding is not a very interesting topic to many people. But the way that McPhee writes it using creative non-fiction makes it a lot more interesting and easy to read. He combines Ted Taylor’s life, nuclear bombs, scientific materials, and creative writing in this book. Without the creative writing, it would be just like a long research paper on nuclear bombs. Blending these topics together turns it into a very good creative non-fiction novel.

I personally didn’t know about creative non-fiction until I read “The Curve of Binding Energy”. I never really heard of the genre nor did I understand it. When I read the book, I realized how much easier it is to read because of the writing style. If it was just a journalistic piece, I probably wouldn’t have been able to read it. It would be too boring and I wouldn’t have any interest in at all. But McPhee does a great job capturing my attention with his use of creative non-fiction.

The genre of creative non-fiction has helped me a lot in writing my college essays and papers. Since I’ve learned this type of writing, I believe I have become a better writer. It helps me combine factual research and my own creative thoughts. I believe that my papers that involve creative non-fiction are better quality and are also easier to read. They aren’t tedious and lackluster like a regular style research paper.

I have also learned that there are a lot more creative non-fiction books than I thought. There are books of this genre that caught my attention and that I plan on reading soon. These books are “In Cold Blood” by Truman Capote and “The Last Shot” by Darcy Frey. I have read that these books are really interesting and that they are written very well.

Really Funny Video About Def Jam

This video is hilarious and i think it's true. Record exec's buy CD's back to make it look like their artists sold a lot. SAD!

Fat Joe Only Sells 46,000 Copies

The music business is going down fast. Rick Ross lead the album sales this week as Trilla sold 198,000 copies. These numbers aren't good for the number 1 CD in the country. No one is buying CD's anymore. Rappers have to make their money off other thing because of the computer era. Snoop Dogg is a legend and his album Ego Trippin came in at 3rd place and only sold 136,000 copies. It seems that nobody bought Fat Joe's album Elephant in the Room because he only sold 46,000 copies. That is really low considering he's been rapping for a long time already. I remember when 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin' came out, it sold 872,000 copies in the first 4 days. Get Rich or Die Tryin' has sold over 12 million copies worldwide. 50 Cent had a lot to say about Fat Joe's sales and he says that Fat Joe's career dead. He even made a video dedicated to him

Game Out of Jail after Only 8 Days

It must be great being a celebrity because apparently you don't have to do jail time. Game was sentenced to 60 days in a Los Angeles prison after pleading no contest on Monday February 11 to felony gun charges stemming from a February 2007 incident in which he allegedly pulled out a gun in a school zone. After Game entered his no-contest plea, a Los Angeles County judge immediately sentenced him to 60 days in prison. In exchange for his plea, prosecutors dropped two other charges: making criminal threats and exhibiting a firearm in the presence of a peace officer. He was also was sentenced to three years of probation and 150 hours of community service. Game was arrested in May, three months after the incident took place, during a pickup-basketball game at a park in L.A. According to the police report, Game got into a fight with a member of the opposing team and then got a gun from his Cadillac Escalade and threatened to kill the man. Game stated in a recent interview with Monsta Magazine that he felt he was being targeted because of his celebrity. After all of this drama, Game winded up getting out of jail after only 8 days. He was released from jail because of "overcrowding" which is the same reason Paris Hilton was released after a couple of days. I know if that was me with these charges, I would probably have to stay in jail for the whole 60 days. I probably would get a longer sentence too. It's really not fair that celebrities get to avoid jail time because of their status. As soon as Game got out of jail, before he even went home, he went to go record a couple of tracks including "Big Dreams" produced by Cool and Dre. This is going to be the first single off Games upcoming album "LAX", coming out later this year. LAX is rumored to be his last album because he says he is fed up with the music business.

R.I.P. B.I.G. March 9th 1997

Its been exactly 11 years since the greatest rapper of all time was killed in a drive by shooting. Notorious B.I.G. was killed on March 9th 1997 and the rap game hasn't been the same since. Biggie was the greatest rapper that ever lived and its truly sad that he had to get gunned down because of his beef wit 2pac. It wasn't enough that 2pac was killed on September 13th 1996 but half a year later BIG was also killed. Biggie and 2pac had beef and this is what happened as a result of this. Biggie stated many times how its crazy that the whole West coast didn't like him because of 2pac and the East Coast didn't like 2pac because of him. Who would think that rap beef would lead to these 2 great rappers getting gunned down. There hasn't been a rapper that has even come close to Biggies level. He was a crazy lyricist and he had the best flow. Neither Big's nor Pac's deaths were solved and it is unknown to this day who killed them. It is believed that Big's crew killed Pac and after that Pac's crew killed Big. It's crazy because Big and Pac were once pretty good friends but they become enemies. It's really sad that Biggie was killed because he would've still been rapping today. He only released 2 albums while alive but they are 2 of the best rap albums of all time. Biggie always said he was ready to die but nobody thought that it would be that soon. We miss you BIG....
Heres one of Biggies most famous songs Juicy

The last verse is INSANE No one else can rap like him
Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis
When I was dead broke, man I couldn't picture this
50 inch screen, money green leather sofa
Got two rides, a limousine with a chauffeur
Phone bill about two G's flat
No need to worry, my accountant handles that
And my whole crew is loungin'
Celebratin' every day, no more public housin'
Thinkin' back on my one-room shack
Now my mom pimps a Ac' with minks on her back
And she loves to show me off, of course
Smiles every time my face is up in The Source
We used to fuss when the landlord dissed us
No heat, wonder why Christmas missed us
Birthdays was the worst days
Now we sip champagne when we thirst-ay
Uh, damn right I like the life I live
'Cause I went from negative to positive
And it's all Good

Rick Ross Trilla Album Review

I got the opportunity to listen to Rick Ross’ new album Trilla before it hits stores on Tuesday March 11th. Trilla is the follow up to his first CD Port of Miami which sold over 750,000 copies. Port of Miami was a good CD and I was expecting the same for Trilla. Trilla was originally supposed to come out in December but got pushed back to February and eventually pushed to March. We have been waiting a long time for this CD but it was defiantly worth the wait. The album has 14 tracks and I liked all but 3 songs. Ross has a lot of guest appearances on the album including Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, T-Pain, Nelly, Trey Songz, R. Kelly, Mannie Fresh, Triple C’s, Rodney, Avery Storm, and Trick Daddy. Ross mostly raps about money, drug trafficking, and being a boss. Ross also shows us a lighter and more sensitive side of himself on the last track on the CD called “I’m Only Human” in which he raps about growing up without a father and how he’s only human and that he also makes mistakes. The 2 singles from the CD so far are “Boss” and “Speedin”, both of which are good songs and catchy. These 2 tracks are getting a lot of radio play right now. Ross is from Miami which he calls Mi-Yayo because of all the cocaine transported through there. In the tracks “This is the Life”, “We Shinin”, and “Maybach Music”, Ross talks about living the good life, making money, and all the cars he has. One of the things I found really funny though was that Ross says boss at least three times in every song. Rick Ross is one of the rappers responsible for putting Florida on the hip-hop map and he’s helping many Florida rappers including Flo-Rida and Brisco get more known. Overall Trilla is really good and one of the better CD’s I’ve heard in a while. I would give Trilla 4 stars out of 5. Here’s Ross’ latest video Boss featuring T-Pain.

Is this the end of Dipset?

The beef just keeps on coming with The Diplomats. First it was Jim Jones and Cam’ron, now its Jim Jones and Max B. We still don’t know what Jimmy and Cam were even beefing about. But Cam hasn’t been the same since then. He’s been hiding out and has barely made any music in the past 6 months. Max and Jimmy grew up together in Harlem and they have known each other for years. Max wasn’t happy because Jimmy wasn’t paying him for his hooks and verses. Now Max has come out swinging hard at Jimmy saying that he can’t rap and that he Max writes his lines for him. Rumor has it that Jimmy hasn’t been focusing enough on his music right now and that he is only focusing on his new wife Chrissie. I don’t think these are good career moves for anyone. Dipset used to be one of the strongest groups in rap, up there with G-Unit and D-Block. Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Max B made some great songs together and now they all have problems with each other. Max B already released 2 songs dissing Jimmy including the I’ma Do Me Freestyle. Jimmy and Cam originally started Dipset together. Now everyone is taking shots at each other. When Juelz was asked why his album hasn’t dropped yet he responded by saying “Honestly I don’t know, you gotta ask Cam about that”. Juelz is upset with Cam and he thinks he isn’t being treated right. Another member of Dipset 40 Cal has stated that Dipset might really be done now.

SUPERMAN!

Did anyone catch the dunk contest this weekend? Because if you didn't than you really missed out. This was on of the best dunk contests since the Michael Jordan days. Dwight Howard's dunks were out of this world. It was great to see Howard put on the cape and take off his jersey to reveal the superman outfit. He became the tallest player ever to win the contest standing at 6'11. Yeaa hes pretty damn big! but he still gets a lot of air. His dunks were crazy and he made the all-star weekend great. Many felt Howard should have won the dunk contest last year so he proved to us this weekend that he is the best. All-Star weekend was really good and it puts the fun back into basketball. It's really entertaining and fun to watch. The All-Star Weekend also puts the fans back into the game as the fans vote on who should win the dunk contest. Also give it up to the Eastern Conference for winning their 3rd all star game in the past 4 years. Last years All-Star weekend in Las Vegas was really wild. A lot of rappers and celebrities were on hand and it was a wild weekend. There was the Pacman Jones nightclub shooting, the beef between Young Buck and Game, and many other controversies. This weekend was more calm. Take a look at some highlights from the dunk contest. Enjoy!

Kanye Your Not The Best!

After watching the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, it really opened my eyes to what a sore loser Kanye West is. I mean I'm not a big Kanye fan anyway but winning an award is a pretty honorable thing. People should feel blessed to have the privilege of winning an award of any sort, especially a grammy. But Kanye on the other-hand was not humble. After winning an award for rap album of the year, he said “this is my award.” He also repeated some of the other nominees names including Common and Nas and said “ if I don’t get up here for alnum of the year award you deserve it just as much as me. I deserve it too.” After hearing this, it made me realize how ridiculous he sounds. This wasn’t even a first case in which Kanye was showing some sore loser qualities in him. At the MTV Europe Music Awards last year, Kanye stormed the stage when Justice and Simian were presented the Best Video prize. He was also quoted by MSNBC saying “If I don’t win, the awards show loses credibility.” I mean how pathetic is he? Thankfully for country music star Vince Gill, who was handed an award at the Grammy’s by the beatles and poked fun at Kanye by saying “Have you had that happen yet Kanye?” Also, for Usher, who said "There are no losers in this category Kanye." He really needs to stop acting so cocky, because people are getting sick and tired of it.

Cough Syrup Killed Pimp C

I was pretty upset when Houston rapper Pimp C of UGK was found dead in his Los Angeles hotel room on December 4th. A lot of people knew Pimp C from "Big Pimpin" with Jay Z and more recently "International Player's Anthem" with Outkast He was a really good and under-appreciated rapper. Originally they said that he died of natural causes but that was hard to believe because usually when someone is 33 years old they don't die of natural causes. So the toxicology reports came out a couple days ago and they show that Pimp whos real name is Chad Butler died from sizzurp. Sizzurp is a drink made out of Promethazine with Codeine syrup(Robitussin AC which is prescription only), sprite, and jolly ranchers. Some people add vodka, rum, and even prescription pills such as xanax and vicodin, which makes it even more harmful. This drink is really popular in the South and a lot of rappers rap about drinking it including Pimp C. I guess people don't understand that it's really harmful to your body. The ingredient that gets you messed up is the codeine. It is a downer that gets you really drowsy. The Robitussin AC, for which Pimp C had a prescription, lowered his breathing rate and became fatal when combined with the rapper's sleep apnea medical condition, which causes momentary lapses in breathing while sleeping. For some reason celebrities can get whichever prescriptions they want with no problems. Look at Heath Ledger,Brad Renfro, Ike Turner, and Anna Nicole Smith. All of them died from drug overdoses and many other celebrities die from this as well. People should definitely be more careful. I'm gonna leave you with a tribute for Pimp C by Lil Flip. Be careful and stay safe

New York Giants Super Bowl Champs

I'm gonna get a little off the music topic right now and talk about the Giants(sorry i had to do it)
New England Whoooo????? What Perfect Season? Big shout out to the MVP Eli Manning and the G-MENN!!!!!!! I felt like i was dreaming but i wasn't. I have been a Giants fan since i was a little kid. I'm not just one of those people jumping on the bandwagon so im really happy right now. Giants pulled out the greatest upset in super bowl history. This was the best football game i have ever seen. I gotta give congrats to the Giants for beating what many said was "The Greatest Team in NFL History". The G-Men took care of the Pats like Plaxico promised. It was crazy around New York City after the game. Everyone was driving around honking and screaming. It was great. I was really pumped because Big Blue brought home their first super bowl since 1990 and the first championship to New York since the 2000 Yankees. It really felt great taking down the now 18 and 1 Patriots. I loved seeing Junior Seau laying on the field stunned after Eli threw the game winning touchdown to Plax.I wanna know who's hittin' up the parade on Tuesday? That should be sick.... To show how proud i am of them, i decided that im going to get the Giants NY tatted on my leg. Yes I LOVE the Giants! Well i didn't forget about Tom Brady who said "We're only gonna score 17?" Tom you were right your not gonna score 17.... We are gonna score 17 and your gonna score 14!!!!!! This ones for you Tom...

New G-Unit Mixtape Droppin Monday

50 cent and G-unit are dropping a new mixtape on Monday February 4th called Return of the Body Snatchers Volume 1. This mixtape is going to have all new tracks by G-Unit and will probably be the pre-release for their album Shoot to Kill which was originally supposed to come out in December, but never did for unknown reasons. The great thing about this mixtape is that it will be available for FREE on ThisIs50 (50 cents official site). I think it's really cool that 50 is giving back to his fans by hooking us up with this. Its definitely gonna be good mixtape. I don't know if anyone noticed but Young Buck is missing from the cover. He's a big part of the Unit's success and lately there have been rumors that he is leaving G-Unit for Cash Money Records (where he originally was signed to when he was 18) and that him and 50 have been having problems lately. Buck denies this and says that 50 is the Boss and he's cool with that. I'm hoping Buck stays with 50 and that everything will be alright. 3 tracks from the are already up on 50's site and you guys should definitely check em' out now and download the mixtape on Monday.
